Seen a few flocks of Fieldfares this week in the Henllan/Penrhiwllan/Croeslan area, each numbering up to a hundred perhaps. Also, noticed several Sparrowhawks zipping down country lanes in the same area. More this morning; 2 at the top of Cors Caron and one at the bottom. Also at Cors Caron; 100 Wigeon, a Tufted Duck, Water Rail, GW Egret, 3 Little Egrets and a Merlin.
Three more Little Egrets at Ystrad Caron. Four Little Grebes at Pant Pool. At Pont Gogoyan; 100 Wigeon, a Goosander and a Peregrine.
