The calm water in New Quay made it a little easier to count the birds today. At least 53 Red ThroatedDivers spread about the place, around 40 Cormorants and 6 Great Crested Grebes. I was sat eating chips on the harbour wall, waiting for the bus, when a Red-Necked Grebe popped up right in front of me. I watched it swim past and into Cei Bach, where it was joined by a Slavonian Grebe.
