Purp Sands- Aber

A visit to Aber would not be the same without these guys from Winter to Spring , tho sometimes hard to find , but we got lucky on a brief visit: 2 of them dodging the waves on the stepped side of the stone pier . We braved the howling wind and disturbed a gull considering this dogfish for tea-wish we could have seen him trying to swallow it!Trying to get a pic of the Purple Sandpipers was testing, as we could hardly stand , but using Sue as a tripod while she propped herself up on her sticks allowed a few!
