Not a lot of birds at Ynyslas today - the high spring tide and cold wind seemed to have pushed the majority of wildfowl and waders further up the estuary. A flock of c.50 Skylarks was feeding on the mud near the Leri saltmarsh with c.15 Reed Buntings. Nice views of a Peregrine hunting low over the saltmarsh here, spooking the Curlew and Shelduck.
On the Clettwr a confiding Water Pipit and a Green Sandpiper, plus a female type Marsh Harrier flying SW overhead. A Great White Egret flew past inland as I arrived, and a Dipper was feeding at the ford.
