At the south end of the reserve; 2 Great Egrets, 4 Redshank, a Gadwall and a pair of Willow Tits.
Railway line/Maes Llyn pool; 8 Tufted Ducks, a Little Grebe, 2 Coots, 40 Wigeon, 4 Chiffchaffs, 2 Fieldfares and a Willow Tit near the wooden hide.
On my way home; no sign of any Heron activity at Coxhead, in fact no sight or sound of any at all. Certainly nothing to suggest that 30 Herons are frantically attempting to rebuild a heronry. So, not really sure what's happening there at present.
