Brennig, I was very interested to read about the huge variety of birds that you have been picking up at night using sound recording equipment. It gives a real insight into something that most of us can only wonder about as a rule. I, for one, would like to read further updates now and again if possible.
There seem to be a lot of Chiffchaffs around. I had 19 on a two hour walk at Olmarch the other day and then 17 on a two hour walk at Llanfair Clydogau this morning. Also today I saw 5 Stock Doves scattered along the sides of the valley, possibly suggesting that a few pairs are present, I suppose.
