A mixed flock of mainly Black-headed Gulls and Sandwich terms were preening on the headland rocks after feeding in the bay when I noticed one of them was tiny in comparison with the Sandwich Terns, which I assumed was a Little TernThen the tern took flight and started dive fishing bin the bay. A first for me in Aberporth.

Dave included a photo showing a distant view of the birds on the rocks. Judging by the size and head pattern I would agree that the bird is a Little Tern.
