A couple of hours after John's visit to Patch, an Osprey was fishing just off the caravans. A photo showed that it was the Osprey ringed in Germany that Tommy Evans reported on the Teifi Marshes a few weeks ago on the 17th August. It has also been seen on the Nevern Estuary. Ringing details are still awaited.
Last night at dusk, there were large numbers of corvids on the sandbanks typical for this time of year including at least 950 Jackdaws. 138 Curlew left the estuary to roost.
