Didn't see too much at Llanrhystud; single Med Gull and 4 Little Egrets were the only highlights. A lot more was present at Ty Gwyn pools inc 27 Snipe and a pair of Shelducks. There were also large numbers of Lapwing 500 and Golden Plover 700. I was halfway through recounting these big flocks when a man in a white van pulled up and asked if I'd seen anything interesting, which of course I had, but now they had all flown off over the trees as he had inadvertently spooked them! I waited 10 minutes for them to return but 3 men with guns then appeared and stomped across the fields in front of me. Time to go home for coffee..........
