A pleasant afternoon for a harrier count at Cors Fochno. First bird was a ringtail Hen Harrier at about 33.45 - possibly too early to be going to roost. Then four marsh harriers arrived at 3.55, 4.38, 4.40 and 5pm. The 4.40 bird came in high from the north so may have crossed the Dyfi. None appeared to be adult males. A water rail called occasionally.
