The Ceredigion Birds blog

After much thought I have decided to bring this blog to an end.  Most news of birds in Ceredigion is now reported and disseminated on two excellent WhatsApp groups, Ceredigion Birders and Ceredigion Birders Chat.  Other wildlife is covered on Facebook - by Ceredigion Birds and Wildlife.

As a result, this blog no longer gives a comprehensive picture of the local birding scene.

I wpuld like to thank Bob Relph for starting the blog back in Dec 2008 and administering it for years before handing over the reins to me., and also many thanks to Richard Crossen who did the tech stuff to set it up.

Special thanks are also due to the many people who have contributed their sightings over the years, and also to all our readers.  I hope you have been informed and inspired to get out there and do it.

Finally, when I was still active in the field, I used to consult the blog archive to find out what had been seen in the county on that day in previous years.  It's still there for you all.
