Ynyslas

There were some good birds to be seen at Ynyslas between 9.00 and 10.00 this morning.
Meadow Pipits gathered on the track between the car-park and Aberleri, 30 or 40 Redshank on the saltings with a similar number of Curlew and a few Shellduck, 20 or so Wigeon on the water and c 1,000 Golden Plover flew over. The star of the show though was a superb male Hen Harrier giving marvelous views as he bobbed and weaved over the saltings.
