Cors Caron this afternoon. A little egret flying up to Cruglas ponds was a bit incongruous, otherwise a lone lapwing, couple of snipe, male sparrowhawk, kite, buzzard and a goldfinch that could barely fly. When we got home we found a grey wag first year in similar state in spite of feeding over the past few days at our Michelin- starred bird restaurant.
The tracks pictured are otter I think, especially as they went down into a flash where no sensible badger would tread.
