We have about 20 Siskin in residence, about 10 males, these are usually accompanied by 15 or so Chaffinches, 10 greenfinches, 3-4 Coal Tits, lots of Blue and Great Tits, 5 House Sparrows, 2-3 Robins, 2 Dunnock, most days 2 Long-tailed Tits and several Blackbirds. Some days we get a visit from a Great-spotted Woodpecker and a recent addition has been a Mistle Thrush, we have until the last two days had a fem. Bullfinch, with occasional male, but they have stripped the pyracantha and cotoneaster bushes so seem to have moved on.
I understand that there may be a "small" Crake in Borth, any news?.
