Happy New Year

Just got back from a 17 mile circular walk Cross Inn - Llanon- Aberaeron- Llanerchaeron- Cilcennin - Cross Inn. A fly-by of Canada geese as I arrived home took me up to 56 species for the day (but back down to 52 if I knock off Charles Grisedale's tame ducks and geese at Ty Gwyn pools).So many bullfinches around. 2 choughs near the rugby fields at Aberaeron were a nice find as was a dipper on a very small stream at Cilcennin.
