Shivering Shanks!

Along the Leri saltings - in the frozen surf at high tide this morning - were numerous Reed Buntings, Meadow Pippits, Redshank, Curlew, and Common Snipe. Other waders appeared as the tide dropped - Ringed Plover, Knot and some Sanderling tripping the tideline. On the water - Mallard, Wigeon, Teal and a few Pintail.
