Barnacle Goose at Maes Llyn

This morning my son missed his school bus, I grumbled at him but on a positive note, I drive past Maes Llyn/Cors Caron. I noticed the little egret and a lot of geese as I drove to school. I nipped in to have a look after and to my surprise, in amongst the canada & greylag was 1 barnacle goose swimming around - A first for me. I dashed home to get the camera and as I got back to the car park the geese were now in the field opposite. I managed to get a couple of photos. Also, 4 Marsh tits were in the hawthorn bushes next to the loos.

The sightings were: 36 canada, 12 greylag, barnacle, little egret, little grebe, cormorant, 24 teal, 42 wigeon, moorhen, 4 mallard, 4 marsh tit, redwing... Thanks son, I'll never moan at him for missing that bus again
