The Shared Earth Trust is keen to find a competent birder who'd be willing
to survey birds at Denmark Farm this season. At minimum, a species list
for each visit would be good but a CBC style survey would be even better
(eg a mapping visit every fortnight or so).
Denmark Farm is an especially glorious place in the spring and summer so
this could be a very nice project for someone to enjoy the peace and
wildlife here. We have maps and routes already, as this survey would
contribute to our long term records. A few hours would be required for
each CBC survey, less for species lists.
We look forward to hearing from anyone who's interested and willing to
contribute their time on a voluntary basis. We would need to brief them in
person before the first visit, but thereafter surveys can take
place at weekends if required.
