A break from normal duties gave me the oppertunity to test my new passport with a trip to Nant yr Arian. Apart from the anticipated Kite feeding spectacular it was really nice to have tea and scones by the Bird feeder and watch Siskins and Greenfinches feeding young as well as watching others at the feeder. A walk to higher ground produced Grt Spot Peckers and at least four terretories being held by Tree Pipits in a felled area of woodland
