Ynys-hir/Ynyslas

A lovely hobby over the car-parl pool at Ynys-hir yesterday. This morning, at Ynyslas, an estimated 7-8,000 manx shearwaters, 220 gannet, guillemots, razorbills, fulmar, 80 kittiwake and 3 arctic terns all feeding off-shore with a frenzy of gannets diving. Seems a bit early for mackerel to be pushing smaller fish to the surface but I may dust off the fishing rod and have a go. Quiet at the point for waders with only a few ringed plover and 2 turnstone in stunning plumage.
