Ystwyth and Tanybwlch

There are a large number of sedge warblers along either side of the river at the moment and also a few whitethroat, 2 choughs were feeding in the fields yesterday (wednesday), around 20 swifts were around and a sparrowhawk carried out a successful attack on the small birds in the scrub. On the beach was a female greenland wheatear (very orange) and just off the harbour was a group of around 10 bottle nosed dolphins giving great views, they had surrounded a shoal of fish and a frenzy ensued with a few gannets diving in to take their share.
