Nightjars

Just back from a night-time foray into the hills to the south of Cwm Einion where we got good views of Nightjars. We got 6 sightings - a single, then a pair than all single birds. We also heard churring and calling. Two Cuckoos were also calling until well after 9:00pm. Bats were flitting around and the midges were a real pain.
