Swallows fledged

A brood of five Swallows has fledged from the lone nest in our barn this year - nearly a month earlier than last year. In spite of the late season they had arrived only two days later than last seasons birds. No doubt the generally better weather this spring has helped them to get on with their breeding a lot quicker!
