Yesterday evening whilst walking the dogs through Coed Dolgoed, I came across a noisy group of tits, possibly up to 50 birds. I counted 15 Long Tailed as they flew above me in the drizzle but they were probably more, it was harder to make out the Blue tits and Marsh tits as they were silhouettes as they flew over but they were at least a dozen Marsh tits in the trees around me and the remainder Blue, I've never seen so many Marsh tits in 1 go. I also saw a couple redstarts, willow warblers & goldcrests
This morning in Bont there was a young carrion crow with 2 circular white patches on it's wings, 1 circle on each wing in perfect symmetry. It looked like a black guillemot in flight. I'll try & get a photo next time it's around
