I agree the weather conditions after the storm has encouraged very many youngbirds out into the open.In the space of 15 mins this morning I was able to have excellent sitings of
1 nuthatch
2 marsh tits
1 robin
2 poss 3 garden warblers
1 dipper
1 dunnock
The nuthatch ,tits and warblers were very interested in the Ash keys.
The dipper was a very exciting and unexpected bonus.I had seen an adult ,but was not aware that they were resident in the lower Rheidol.Perhaps it is as a result of the very low state of the river, there are far more exposed stones for them to do use. This juvenile didn't have the pronounced bib but had accomplished the bob!
