Aberaeron to Llanrhystud

I walked the coast path from Aberaeron to Llanrhystud this afternoon (Saturday). Hardly saw a soul but plenty of wildlife about. Species include turnstone, ringed plover, curlew, whimbrel, stonechat, goldfinch, linnet, cormorant, kite, kestrel, goshawk (fantastic views being mobbed by the kestrel and a pair of raven), peregrine, raven, swallow, house martin, sand martin, fulmar, cormorant, wheatear, gannet, manx shearwater, sandwich tern (38 on the point south of the lime kilns), oystercatcher and med gull.

Mamals - grey seal and a nudist (male).

Prize finds were a male slow worm and an enormous elephant hawk moth caterpillar.
