Birds at Ynyslas
This morning at Ynyslas at about 07:15 I stopped to look at a large group of waders on the pebbles near the Leri end of the beach, just where the posts extend out into the estuary. At a rough guess I would say there were 350 - 400 birds. Mostly Ringed Plover and Dunlin with a few Sanderling as well. Accurate counting was made difficult by the strong wind and heavy showers. There were some Sandwich Terns closer to the water and a few Curlew.
