Word of warning: general insect books like Chinery don't really do justice to them.
Bird News: the great tits up the mountain fledged but one was freshly dead in the grass by the roadside yesterday,maybe a RTA victim.
No second brood of spotties here but one brood of HM's still to go and second try by swallows having fledged 5 strong young.
