Harry Pepper and I counted 62 Mediterranean Gulls at Aberarth, early afternoon. 35 were adults and the rest were 2nd year birds.The photo below shows five or six of them with Black-headed and Herring Gulls.
With them was a colour-ringed Med. Gull, Green R35T. I will send the details in and once I get the info. on where it was ringed etc I will put it on the blog.
Nearby at Llanon there were 3 Whimbrels and 3 Med. Gulls, 2 adults and one 2nd year and at Llansantffraed there was another adult and juv.
