Having received some criticism recently of taking photos of 'birds on sticks' - albeit from non-ornithological circles - I spent a pleasant hour yesterday, sat in the garden trying to photograph birds in their second natural element - the air. Herewith a couple of the results which did not necessitate any chasing, fence climbing or disturbance in any form!
