A little bit late! At hight tide on Saturday morning - I was sat quietly in the car alongside the saltings watching a good mixed flock of Dunlin, Ringed Plover and a couple of Curlew Sandpipers -coming ever closer as the tide drove them in. Just preparing to take a photo when they exploded in to the air as an uncontrollable dog raced along the tide line! However, all was not lost as the very high tide restricted access along the track and in recompense a Ruff landed in the edge of the rushes.
