Along the railway track at Cors Caron a Stoat was dashing backwards and forwards over the bridge by the hide. I then saw a Kestrel perched on the railings just above it. Neither had any prey and the Stoat seemed unafraid of the Kestrel.
Any thoughts on this strange behaviour?
Nearby a large flock of tits including Longtailed with a couple of Chiffchaffs.
On Friday a Merlin on the quarry road just north of Ystrad Meurig.
