2 Merlins (1 male, 1 female) were seen hunting the swallows gathering to roost (approx. 200) over Cors Fochno last night just prior the deluge. A late sedge warbler and 26 mixed Pied/White wagtails were also seen gathering in the reeds.
Later that night at high tide there were at least 60 Dunlin, 20 Ringed Plover, 2 Curlew Sandpipers, 2 Bar-tailed Godwits and a Sanderling.
