This guillemot was floating motionless beside the lifeboat landing on
Aberysytwyth beach today (Thursday).
Two dead ones were washed up on Monday,
and this one didn't look too healthy, but it reassured us by opening its
eyes occasionally and moving slightly. It wasn't there later on, so maybe it
was just resting - but within arms length of humans.
