Picking up on John's remarks regarding the disturbance of the Wryneck at Llanrhystud.
I have to say that I am very upset to learn that the bird is likely to suffer more of the same in order that it can be ringed this evening.
It pains me to say it but I am beginning to seriously consider just how much information we can continue publish.
I know that the majority of us understand that the bird's welfare comes first.
But unfortunately it seems that by publishing details of some of our scarcer birds, they are being disturbed thus depriving more of us the opportunity of seeing these wonderful creatures.
