All in a days work

Whilst working this evening I spotted a very large flock of Starlings coming in from my right just north of Talgarreg. By taking my foot off the accelerator I was able to time it so that they passed right over me, maybe 10000 birds, heading east. Presumably they were heading to the same location as those that we saw on Sunday evening, not far away in Mydroilyn. Feel tantalisingly close to finding this roost. Further down the road in Pontsian a dozen Kites looked like they were about to go to roost in a wooded ridge. This morning a Brambling was in the grounds of Alltrodyn Hall, Rhydowen.
