Around the county

Good to catch up with the Snow Buntings and Bob at Ynyslas today. 12 Common Scoter, 2 Red-throated Divers and 2 Great-crested Grebes on the sea and the Great Northern Diver still off Ynys Hir point.
The Black Redstart was showing well on the roof of the old college together with 2 Rock pipits, a Pied Wagtail and, looking completely out of place, a Grey Wagtail. 7 Purple Sandpipers were spread out on the stone jetty and along the wall under the prom.
The raptors at Tregaron failed to put on a good display though with just 2 ringtail Hen Harriers appearing briefly and dropping straight in to roost. 2 Whoopers flew from the north and landed on the west side of the bog.
