North-bound Starlings

Like Janet I was amazed by the numbers of starlings heading north over our Bow Street garden from the direction of Aberystwyth this afternoon. When I was at the Clettwr a couple of weekends ago there were much smaller flocks going over, but again they were heading north-east, and I reckoned that Ynys-hir looked the likely destination then.
