Another fine day in this idyllic landscape, superb light and visibility. 4 whooper swans heading low to the east. Water pipit disturbed by sparrow hawk and then female hen harrier. Kingfisher in one of the drainage diches, at least 6 little egrets, 150 golden plover, 3 ravens, 1 kite, 3 buzzards, 3 goldeneye. Best of all a flyover of 48 whitefronts which landed in a field to the west and back again about an hour later, landing out of sight up the estuary.
