Re the Twitchers programme mentioned by Ian, like him I can't get it out of my mind.
I only just managed to watch it right through because it made me feel quite uncomfortable.
Ian mentions some of the qualities needed to be a "top twitcher" - oodles of dosh, knowledge and determination. Hmm........
You might be right Ian, but there's an experience those featured in the programme seemed to entirely miss -
There was obsession and selfishness, even recklessness but I didn't notice much "Joy" in their Birding".
