MEDITERRANEAN GULLS

After viewing the Black Redstart at Aberystwyth, Meurig Williams and I stopped off at Llanrhystud where there were 5 Med. Gulls on a pasture near the beach car park.
At Llansantffraed there were two more, plus the 'white' Oystercatcher. At Aberaeron there was another Med. Gull, the one shown in the photo, plus 12 Golden Plovers, also on the foreshore infront of the north car park.
A brief visit to Cors Caron at the end of the day produced views of a couple of ring-tail Hen Harriers and a close encounter with a Willow Tit.
