Ynyslas
Jacqui and I met Janet Baxter at Ynyslas this morning and enjoyed a walk in brilliant sunshine. We noticed a concentration of gulls quite close to the shore and it soon became clear that they had gathered for the usual reason - food. I don't know if there is a collective noun associated with starfish but that's what they had homed-in on. There was a lot of scrapping and mugging going on, but what else would you expect, these were Herring Gulls. We also spotted a Great Norther Diver, still in partial summer plumage. At the Turn car park there were 3 Snow Buntings and 2 late Autumn visitors from Cardigan........
