Probably, by now you're aware of the peanut situation.
My supplier Steve Harty at Aberaaron and Lampeter pet supplies tells me the problem is none coming out of China due to the heavy rains and consequent crop failures. His new stock is up by £4/25kg bag and he reckons the price could well double by Christmas/early 2011.
He had contacted four wholesalers this morning none of whom had any stock.I had to pay £33.90/25kg; apparently some wholesalers are supplying in 20kg bags and the price is still up on previous 25Kgs.
