This afternoon, when I visited Aberleri I counted (as well as I could with tearful eyes caused by the cold wind) 100+ Curlew and c40 Golden Plover feeding in the stubble in the fields nearby. Mixed in amongst them were probably 40 Lapwing and a couple of hundred Starlings.
