we had wonderful views of the eagle at pontrhydygroes at 2.00pm (Wednesday 3rd) it was being mobbed by a buzzard and several red kites before flying off northwards
it all lasted a good five minutes at least.
went on to the arch but did not see any crossbills,then a quick look at the rheidol and had good views of goldeneye1male 3female.
