Mwnt coast path and swifts Llanon
Along the coast path between Mwnt and Pen Peles today: 3 kestrels, 2 peregrine, 1 pair stonechat, 2 male wheatears, 1 blackcap, 3 chiff chaff, 4 willow warblers, 8 shelduck, 3 sandwich terns, linnets everywhere, constant movement of swallows and sand martins north, 2 adders and lots of butterflies including orange tips, painted ladies, peacock and tortoiseshell.
Driving back through Llanon yesterday evening I could hear swifts screaminground the village.
