A fine day yesterday so had one of my regular walks along the cliff path from Clarach to Wallog. As per the last two years Stonechats were conspicuous by their absence. Not one of the usual 'hot spots' was occupied. As a consolation however a fine pair of Choughs were seen and three pairs of Wheatears. In addition several large parties of Swallows were moving north.
