PURPLE HERON

 What a superb bird and it showed remarkably well. My first in Britain (and not for want of trying!). I hope my digi-scope efforts will do for the time being.
Beautiful colours with a mass of trailing feathers from the neck and two dark, thin whisps from the top of its head.
