A little late but I saw a group of at least 12 jays flying up Cwm Wyre one after the other on Sunday – there could have been more as I’m not sure if any had passed before I noticed them.
Perhaps an odder sighting was a full grown turkey on the edge of a roadside wood just south of Furnace this morning.
