Marc Hughes, enjoying another productive visit from North Wales, saw a good selection between Llanon and Llanrhystud this morning: 2 Black-tailed and 3 Bar-tailed Godwits, 4 Knot, 10+ Common Sandpipers, 10+ Sanderling, a Whimbrel, 80+ Turnstones, 50+ Ringed Plovers as well as 80+ Med. Gulls and 10 Common Terns.
On Cors Caron Arfon Williams noted 5 Green Sandpipers. I visited Cors Fochno and feeding together were 2 Ruff, 2 Curlew Sandpipers and a Little Stint. Marc vists Ynyslas this evening and finds 6 Little Stints!
